In May 2024, we launched Passwave to replace the inefficient manual ticketing system at Bells University, eliminating errors, reducing costs, and providing real-time sales data. We built a robust MongoDB backend and user-friendly applications, successfully managing events and implementing secure payments with Flutterwave. Strong leadership and strategic partnerships led to on-schedule MVP delivery and a GMV of 1.5 million naira in the first month.

I initially built SnapGram by following a tutorial, but I decided to expand my skills in backend development. I refactored the project to use my own MongoDB database, implementing Express and Node.js for the backend. Additionally, I enhanced security by integrating Clerk middleware to prevent unauthorized access.

I built a Zoom clone using Next.js to support the Passwave team and address the 1-hour limit of Google Meet. To deepen my expertise in video conferencing technologies, I integrated Clerk for secure authentication and used the Stream SDK for real-time communication, ensuring high-quality video calls and instant meetings. Additionally, I enhanced the user experience by providing easy access to recordings in a secure and user-friendly environment

Price Spy is a price tracking tool that scrapes data from Amazon, monitoring product prices in real-time. Once a product is added by a user, they receive email notifications whenever there is a drop in the price. This helps users find the best deals without manually checking prices. The platform uses modern web scraping techniques and a reliable notification system to keep users informed about price changes.
